4. Why did you start your business?
Event Planning was something I was somewhat thrown into very early on in my professional career. I had no idea when I started with the Atlantic 10 Conference that a major portion of my job would be meeting and event planning, but it was and I have come to thoroughly enjoy it. So much so that I felt I had a great passion for the business and decided to add my own style to the industry.
5. What’s unique about your product or service?
Well when I say style I pride myself on ALWAYS being readily available to my clients. To date none of my clients have had to leave me voicemail messages and emails are responded to with in an hour. It is just something I feel I owe to my clients. I have been on the downside of an event and I would never want my client walking away feeling the way I have had in the past about bad service.
6. What is your favorite type of event client and why? (i.e. weddings, birthday parties, corporations etc)
I really enjoy working with Corporations. It provides me with a structured plan as well as allows me to work with minimal guidance so I can meet the clients need will exhibiting my best work.
7. What key piece of advice would you give to event hosts when choosing a service provider?
I would advise the hosts to as best as they can try to select a meeting planning professional who can differentiate between their personal and professional opinions. My personal motto is “the client isn’t always right but this is the CLIENTS event”. My other point of advise would be to check references so you know what to expect and can hear feedback on the company you are hiring.
8. What should event hosts expect if they book your company for their event?
