Question: What are some new teambuilding activities for my department?
Answer: When it comes to building a team, typically the most successful activities involve some sort of problem solving or trust exercise that forces the team to come together and depend on each other to get the task done. Some cool ideas for such activties include:
- Doing a Habitat for Humanity project - This brings the team together for a good cause. It also involves problem solving in trying to figure out how to maximize the materials provided to build the best house possible for deserving families!
- Do an Impovisation Workshop - This can be fun and build trust among co-workers. Set up various scenerios and have your team act them out improv style. It is fun to see what people come up with!
- Go on a Scavenger Hunt around the city - Give each team various things they need to find around the city. Award a prize to the team who completes the list first.
