Ideas for an original Bridal Shower.
Getting married is one of life’s most important moments, and it’s not always the easiest. The actual celebration usually costs tens of thousands dollars, and that’s actually one of the reasons that led to the creation of the tradition we now refer to as “bridal shower”. As the name suggests, this is a time where guests are expected to shower the bride with gifts that will help her in the newly wed lifestyle she’s about to embrace.
One of the most important things in bridal showers is making sure the receiving couple gets things they’ll actually use. To this effect, it’s mandatory to ask the bride to come up with a wish list that will be distributed among the attendants. That’s something you should keep in mind if you want to make a decent bridal shower, but if you want to make something extraordinary, you really need to think out of the box: for example, you can choose an exotic venue (such as a cabaret or a swimming pool), or maybe arrange for a unique entertainment that will treat your guests with more than just another boring pre-wedding party.
If you really want to make an original Bridal Shower, you should strive to keep your guests engaged with some kind of game or presentation… maybe even some karaoke? Also, one of the things about weddings is that so many people get depressed because they’re single; with that in mind, why not try to come up with some social games that will maybe encourage new couples to hook up? Spreading the love is arguably one of the best ways of expressing your own love! Remember that.
