Is using Planaganza complicated?
Planaganza is far from complicated! Planaganza offers several features to help make your event planning as simple as possible. You can upload pictures, create blogs and of course invite guests all with a few clicks. You also have access to a comprehensive vendor review database comprised of comments and ratings from people just like you! So if you’re stuck on which photographer to hire, read the vendor reviews and find out what other users think.
MyGanza is your member homepage. This is where you edit your profile, change your preferences, organize your friends, read your email, view friend’s comments and create events. You can also send invites, track RSVP's and add posts to your blog from this page
Why is the site called “Planaganza”?
Funny you should ask! Planaganza is for any event you can plan in life. It’s not just for large conferences, expensive weddings or 10,000 people galas. Although it can be used to plan those events as well, Planaganza is also for your wine and cheese socials, your superbowl parties and your rowing team’s sports banquet. You don’t have to just plan the extravaganzas of life you can also Planaganza! Planaganza is just a play on the word extravaganza to let our users know that the site is accessible to all, for all events and socials.
Does Planaganza cost money to use?
No, Planaganza is a free member service.
Is my personal information protected when I use Planaganza?
Your privacy is very important to us. Any personal information that you submit on Planaganza will only be accessible to your event guests and/or your friends if you chose in your privacy options. We will never sell your information to third parties without your prior consent.
What should I do if my username already exist?
If this is your first time signing up for Planaganza, you should try a variation of the username you would like. If you are already a Planaganza member, then you should click on “I forgot my password” and your username and password will be emailed to you.
Do my friends have to register to use the service?
No! Simply add your friends' emails into the invite box when you're planning an event, they'll get your email and be able to view your event website without having to register! When you create an event website you will receive a web address for your website in the form
Can I make my event private or can anyone who visits my profile or has the web address see my plans?
Yes you can make your event private. From your MyGanza page you can update your privacy options and even add password protection to your event website.
What options do I have for letting people know about my event?
We have several options at Planaganza! You can chose from the following options depending on your event:
•Announcement (Coming Soon)
Let your guests know that your event is being planned
Life Option: Alert contacts to your impending move, new baby, upcoming promotion or new contact information
An announcement does not require a RSVP or specific logistic information
•Save the date (Coming Soon)
Let your guests know to mark their calendars for your event
Life Option: Save the dates can be sent as birthday reminders or for recurring events
Save the dates do not require a RSVP but must include specific date and/or time information
•Email Invitation
Let your guests know that you want them at your event – via email
Invitations require a RSVP and specific logistic information
How long will my event website be active?
Your event website will be active for 6 months from the date of the event (ex. If you start planning your December 2010 wedding in February 2009 your website will be active until December 2011 not February 2010). After that time you can opt to pay a nominal fee to keep your website active.
What does beta mean?
Beta means that we are still making changes and improvements to the site. We welcome your ideas and suggestions to make the site your favorite event planning tool! We still have a lot of other features to introduce that will help make your planning experience even better. On the back end, know we are working really hard to get it right for you.
How will guest know that they can upload their personal photos to my event webpage after my event?
You can send an announcement to your event attendees letting them know that they can see event photos, recaps and comments on your event webpage. Users can post comments or add photos to your event webpage.
